Sushi is likely the first thing that comes to everyone’s mind when thinking about Japanese food. Healthy and delicious, it has become a favourite of many all around the world. I’m a sushi lover myself too!
I’ve been to Sushi Oribe last year and was kinda sad knowing that Ori-San will be leaving Oribe. But now he’s back! Manning his own Sushi Ori now, after popularising Sushi Hinata & Sushi Oribe.
Love Ori-San’s sushis as he goes to extraordinary lengths to source the best ingredients to create sushi that balances texture, temperature and flavour.
Diners at the sushi counter that seats merely a dozen people are treated to a procession of precisely prepared sushi through different cuts of different fishes in accordance to season to sea urchin, and more.
How to get a reservation: Book as early as you can as their sushi counter only seats up to 12 pax. They do have private rooms but we recommend people to book their counter seats instead as you could watch the chef in action, interact with him and you will get to try the sushis prepared immediately.
Their limited menu focuses on fresh sea produce and sushis. We went for the Tsubaki Menu during lunch 🙂
