?On 21 March in 150 countries Goût de France / Good France will bring together over 3,000 restaurants and 150 embassies over five continents in a celebration of French gastronomy. Chefs from around the world will come together for a meal to celebrate the vitality of French cuisine and unite around the joint values of sharing and pleasure in a planet-friendly and healthy way.
??It’s an honour for 2OX to be one of the participating French restaurants in Malaysia. Introducing Chef Phillippe Murray Dominic, who joined 2OX and gave the traditional French bistro menu a modern twist. Chef Phillip likes to experiment with dishes giving a new height to culinary experience with modern presentation and taste without losing the authenticity of French cuisine. With a French heritage, he has over 10 years of culinary experience and worked for various famous French Chefs throughout his career.

APPETIZER
POACHED TIGER PRAWNS TERRINE – CONFIT GARLIC & KELP ESPUMA – SUMMER PEAS
The prawns were fresh and beautifully presented in a terrine form with great textures and mixtures of different flavours that enhance the freshness of this seafood.
OR
CEPE MUSHROOM SOUP – DUXELLES – TOASTED BRIOCHE
Loving Chef Phillip’s creativity. He always thinks out of the box!
This is a mushroom soup with a twist!
MAINS
SLOW COOKED CHICKEN – TRUFFLE EMULSION – FAVA BEANS RAGOUT
I was being skeptical of it being dry but nope. It was juicy and smooth!
OR
ROASTED BARRAMUNDI FILLET – TURNIPS PUREE – WILTED SPINACH
One of my favourite dishes presented, the fish were perfectly seared, with so much creaminess from the puree and smoothness from the spinach. Highly recommended.

BRIE WITH AGED BALSAMIC VINEGAR & ORANGE MARMALADE
DESSERT
DARK CHOCOLATE MOUSSE – PECAN PRALINE – BANANA ICE CREAM – ALMOND SABLE
I love dark chocolate and I have no complaints at all. It was really rich and again, lots of textures going on in just one plate.
