We grew up eating noodles. A lot.
Even our Mini C loves noodles now and he wouldn’t stop chanting “noodles” until he had one for the day. Haha.
I personally love noodles; tender-toothsome and swimming in fragrant, umami-rich broth – or even dry, thank you. Comfort food.
We made a return to Batu 11 Cheras again in search of good food near the morning market. So much to discover in this Cheras Batu 11 New Village. Nestled in a “corner house” right in the center of the New Village and the morning market, this house has been a kopitiam called “Ho Ah Ming Coffeeshop” for many years. Most local folks would walk in, in the morning, in search of a good bowl of piping hot Pork Noodles, Loh Shu Fun & Fried Mian Xian.
Yes, just walk right in and you will spot a couple – hardworking-ly preparing since 5am in the morning.
Look out for “Ying Jie” or Mdm Ying.
Check out this stall, specialising in Pork Noodles – Normal, Seaweed, Bittergourd, also Hakka Mee, Claypot Loh Shu Fun, Fish Head Noodles & Fried Mian Xian!
