Character cafés are popular for so many reasons. They not only appeal to our taste buds, but to our sense of imagination and love of all things kawaii or cute! The only trouble with character cafés is that they are often only available for a limited time.
Featuring some of the cutest food served, you must take the opportunity to visit this super cute and fun character concept cafe with your loved ones.
This is the first Japanese character collaborate pop-up cafe is opened at AEON Mid Valley Megamall by Anista Tokyo.
And their first collaborated character is Alpacasso!
And another exciting news is, the main character of the café will be changed every 2 to 3 months!
How cute!
Not only there will be changes in their menu but also the interior and original goods will be refreshed!
Some of the cute characters lined up include Doraemon, Pokémon, Rilakkuma, Mochimochipanda and many more.
All menu is originally made by the cafe most of the ingredients are from Japan.
Let cuteness rule!
Cute characters can be found pretty much anywhere around Japan and there’s definitely no shortage of them making their way onto our plates in dishes too cute to devour here now!
Since the characters will change every 2 to 3 months, so be sure to check this cafe out when you need your next cute fix!
Alpacasso will be there till 15 NOVEMBER 2016 before another kawaii character kicks in!
Cotton Candy Alpacassoda – RM24.80
Its face and ear are made out of edible rice cracker.
Pour soda into your your glass and watch the magic happen!
The cotton candy will begin to sink down and we used the straw to fold the rest of the cotton candy into it. It will then melt into the soda to sweeten up the drink which had a yuzu base.
Alpacasso Hot Latte – RM14.80
Freshly brewed with added milk and cocoa powder.
Garden Fresh Smoothie – RM17.80
A very refreshing drink mixed out of fresh spinach, apple, banana blended with orange juice, coconut water and honey.
Alpacasso Curry Island – RM26.80
Delicious Japanese curry rice filled with tropical greens on side. The rice was also prettily assembled in the shape of the Alpacasso with its face made with cocoa powder.
White Alpacasso Beef Burger – RM29.80
The beef patty was compact and dense. Glazed with teriyaki sauce, it’s one flavoursome dish.
White Alpacasso Chicken Burger – RM29.80
Sandwiching a juicy chicken patty coated with teriyaki sauce, sliced tomatoes and roasted onions in between.
Garden Green Salad – RM19.80
A platter with various healthy greens, served with a special onion or Japanese dressing.
Just add an additional RM5 for soup of the day
Fluffy Alpacasso Pancakes – RM25.80
Layers of soft pancakes covered with white sauce, served with fresh whipped cream and fresh fruits.
Summer Danish Pillow – RM25.80
More cuteness overload! Grilled danish bread topped with vanilla ice cream surrounded by a small fruit island.
Such colourful and cute dessert.
We would have to admit that most cute characters cafe that we encountered locally don’t serve good food. They may be just an instagram-candy but tastewise, they are not memorable.
However, we found otherwise at Alpacasso cafe: they look so deliciously cute and was really decent.
