What makes steamboat stands out? Fresh ingredients & most importantly delicious soup base! At Coconut Steamboat, they uses coconut broth with added kampung chicken for the original sweet taste!
Coconut water – Low in calories, naturally fat- and cholesterol free, more potassium than four bananas, and super hydrating!
Naturally refreshing, coconut water has a sweet, nutty taste. It contains easily digested carbohydrate in the form of sugar and electrolytes. So much goodness in a pot of soup!
- Unlike other hot pot shops, they have a clear concept: Coconuts!
- Clear & sweet soup
- Modern & comfy interior (like a cafe)
- Efficient service
- Great selections of handmade meatballs
- Expanding coconut infused dishes
- Delicious coconut desserts
We agreed that their coconut based-broth made with fresh coconut tasted fresh, sensational and healthy, paired great with a selection of homemade dishes and sauces.

Besides being healthy, what is amazing about using coconut as a base is that the soup changes tastes with different ingredients, creating a layering. The kampung chicken has to go in first for 7 minutes.
Add in a portion of chicken to jazz up the flavours and further boost up the sweetness of the soup!
7 minutes yo!

Premium Homemade Coconut Ice Cream – RM8.80
Literally melting on my tongue, it was also a luxurious mix of creamy and refreshing, not the least bit heavy, but oh so smooth. Just as it looked, the texture was also reminiscent of whipped cream.
I was curious how they would make the actual coconut flavour really stand out, but it did! This one is for true coconut fans or someone seeking to create that perfect pina colada. Though a bit thicker than the vanilla, it was still insanely soft and creamy. The purity was so wonderfully inviting.
Crisp Taro & Sweet Potato Rolls RM7.80
They’re irresistible — crunchy slices of speckled taro, deep purple sweet potato fried up crisp with the taste of their natural root veggie sweetness shining through.
Whether weather is scorching hot or beating rainy days in Malaysia, we will still flock to hotpot restaurants to enjoy a hearty meal of steamboat. At Coconut Steamboat, there’s nothing better than warming ourself over a cauldron of steaming sweet & clear coconut broth, surrounded by plates of delicious platters.
