Dessert is probably the most important stage of the meal, since it will be the last thing your guests remember before they pass out all over the table.

Calling all dessert lovers!
Many of you would have already know that Xiao-ly Koh, a young aspiring pastry chef with a pure passion for her craft have been operating her home-based baking & corporate catering for years. I’ve personally tried her cakes at a friend’s party and absolutely loved them.
Just recently Xiao-Ly launched her own patisserie with her sister! Bringing up her own brand to serve more customers who love her work – in retail.
Xiao by Crustz
Xiao-ly used to blog with the name of Crustz, and thus Xiao by Crustz! 🙂
She indeed have injected some much needed excitement into a pastry category that at times feels staid and dull. This is great news for all kinds of pastry fans. All these young chefs have boosted so much quality and creativity.
Let’s take a walk into this quaint little shop located at the Happy Mansion, Section 17 PJ for a relaxing slice of gateau-style cakes & tarts that will surely impress you!
However, you might need to wait for your seats as they don’t cater too many seatings. Just a bigger table near their counter and a few small tables by the window.
Xiao-ly specializes in French-inspired pastries, desserts, and cakes. Owned and operated by the sisters, Xiao by Crustz is noted for its premier quality, taste, and dedication to its craft.
I love her entire line of artisanal desserts and pastries just from their looks already but too bad we didn’t manage to try all of them as there were only 2 of us and they are selling out super quick!
They are open at 3pm but when we reached at about 4.30pm, more than half the selections were already SOLD OUT!
Luckily we still managed to try a few. All her crafts are so photogenic and very instagram-worthy!
Pa-Macha – RM12
Pate a Choux, Green Tea Creme Diplomat, Passion Fruit Jelly
I love Choux pastry! A light pastry recipe to make mouthwatering pastries such as profiteroles, cream puffs, and eclairs. Hidden jewels are the creamy green tea & tangy passion fruit jelly! This combination is refreshing and definitely not overly satiating.
Goma Goma – RM13
Eclair, sesame ganache & hazelnut mouseline
This goma dessert is love! The combination of sesame and nutty hazelnut are match made in heaven.
Le Cerf – RM16
Crispy Crumble base, Hazelnut Daquoise, Ganache Molleuex, Milk Choco Chantly. Topped with a deer-shaped thin chocolate slice. Too pretty to be eaten!
French Press – RM9
Coffee for the BFF @ivyaiwei
Sweet Camomile – RM9
I could drink Camomile everytime! Goes well with any dessert.
