We can’t wait to meet you
So we’re gathered here today,
To shower you with presents
That you’re going to need someday.
Until the day that you arrive
And we all get to see you,
We’ll give your mom the support she needs
And eagerly wait to greet you.
A Baby Shower for Mini C!
This is what our dear friends did for Chris and I while anticipating and waiting for the arrival of our little one “Mini C”!
Well, his name will definitely not be MINI since he’s a baby boy. LOL
2 years back was my Bridal Shower they threw me. Now Baby Shower. The status upgrading just in a flash! *gasp*
Upon our arrival, we were greeted with cheerful smiles from them. With a sunny & comfy ambiance, everything looks so bright, vibrant and cheerful!
Where was is?
The Café, Royal Selangor Visitor Centre KL
The Café at the Visitor Centre offers a perfect spot for tea, with shots of fresh ground coffee, and allowing patrons to indulge in their delicious selection of homemade cakes and pastries. They also have other main meal choices like sandwiches, pasta, salads, and a daily lunch special.
Definitely a hidden treasure in the area of Setapak. Located inside the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre, where tourists and locals will get to visit or join their interactive tour to learn more about the pewter industry.
They have proved that baby showers can be stylish and fun to decorate! Kudos to Ivy, Kampungboycitygal & SuVyen for organizing such a cute shower for us & our baby. Not forgetting our good friends who have also shower their blessings towards us with wishes & gifts that’s so memorable!
The food & dessert table were also cutely decorated with toys & books for Mini C!
Sausage Rolls, Tuna Corn Sandwiches, Chicken & Mushroom Quiches, Rich Chocolate Cakes & Buttercream Cupcakes in Blue & Orange! Well, it was supposed to be yellow but it turned out orange instead. Haha. Nonetheless, they still look pretty 🙂
All of these delectables are served in a sunlit space with views out to the garden.
Love the ambiance that was very garden-like and also, the food spread was delicious too. Cakes aren’t too sweet and the savouries were up to expectations too.
Fatty Giraffe loves the food spread!
Coffee & Tea served in Royal Selangor’s Pewter Melon Teapot
With a Blue & Yellow themed Baby Shower, here’s some glimpse of their beautiful DIY decos!
A welcoming wall! With blue & yellow pom-poms, MINI C Initials & cute baby romper!
Love this romper/ onesie that Citygal bought for Mini C. It’s blue, with the initial C and my fave Moo Cow 🙂
And it says he loves Mom!
Meet one of our guest, baby Arthur. He’s only a year plus but filled with many intellectual words that made our day! Haha.
Wishes Cards made for “Mini C”! Each and everyone of us have to fill in the blanks with the best wishes for the baby! Some meaningful while some was really hilarious, but in a good way. Haha.
Everybody busy with wishes!
Mommy writing the best wishes I could think of for my little boy. Haha.
While the Daddy was thinking so hard what to write for his future son!
After that, we played a little drawing game where we have to draw a picture with the letter of our name begins with to compile the FIRST ABC BOOK for MINI C! How sweet & thoughtful!
Drawing time!
The outcome! Here are just some of the A++ drawings by the “aunties & uncles” for Mini C to learn next time. They have it all from A to Z!
Happy faces pictures ahead!
With my Mommy dearest 🙂
Vyen & Rena 🙂
And another with Vyen!
Here’s Ivy!

Besties KampungboyCitygal & Ivy!

Polaroids for remembrance
Thank you very much for the Baby Shower guys! We felt so loved & grateful!
xoxo
Chris & Christine
Thanks again!
When we got home, I jotted down the Baby Shower event into the Pregnancy/ Baby Diary I made for Mini C. It’s a great way of collecting our thoughts that’ll create a special gift for our little one, years later. Putting pen to paper is especially rewarding during pregnancy. Jotting down their progression & happenings are magical
The Café serves breakfast to afternoon tea. Ideal for events like this too! So if you’re planning a group visit, it’s advisable to call ahead for reservations first to avoid disappointment.
