We’re both huge fans of brunches and well, especially me, love restaurants that with menu that reads “All-day breakfast” aloud. Learning that Bangsar Village has a new addition that added excitement especially for Bangsars brunch hunters (and yes, they serve all day breakfast), and also, they serve 3-D Coffee Art!, we zonked out to Bangsar Village with great anticipation 🙂
Nutmeg’s interior is designed in a homely way with its cleverly mix & match furnitures and adornments. Open kitchen concept that churn out a modern diner space with a back terrace for private tittle-tattles & colourful paintings that adds some youthfulness.
It’s been a while since we hunt for new a Coffee Place so Nutmeg is such a place to be since they have both coffee & breakfast. Well lunch & dinner too of course 🙂
Having heard their talented barista here knows how to do 3D Art on Coffee, we’re very interested to try!
From incredibly detailed flat artworks on the coffee foam, now latte art has evolved so prettily with baristas creating 3d coffee foam sculptures.
Cappuccino – RM8 (additional RM5 for 3D Coffee Art)
Cute kitty in our cuppa!
Drinking cute kitty 😀 Trying to get outta my cup!
Cafe Latte – RM8
We didn’t manage to check out neither their breakfast items ‘cos we had proper breakfast earlier and yet still wanna check Nutmeg out. Lucky us, we’re still in time to try their:
Executive Set Lunch – RM28++ (inclusive of a starter, main course & dessert)
Available from Mondays to Fridays from 11.30am – 2pm
*Menu changes every week
Starters: A choice of Daily Soup or Side Salad
The Main Event
We chose to have the Pan Seared Salmon on Barley Risotto. There were 2 other selections of main course that can may choose from that changes daily. Love its texture as this risotto style barley has a more toothsome bite than the rice based versions and the salmon was pan seared nicely too. Not overly cooked 🙂
Sweet Endings: Dessert of the Day
Their Executive Set Lunch is worth checking out if you’re working around the corner and it has drawn many lunch crowd over. Appetizing & simple selections to settle your lunch fix. Also, Nutmeg is pretty busy during lunch hours even during weekdays.

Hey Christine!
My name is Danial from Lion & Lion, the digital agency. We’re currently working together with AXA AFFIN for a cancer outreach campaign.
I came across your blog and really found it to be an interesting read! You have a great writing style that’s really personable and informative. Your blog has a great aesthetic to it that makes it great to look at, not just read. Maison Francaise and Acme are two places that looked great that your reviews have made me determined to try. I just wanted to ask if you’d be interested to help us out by writing a post to help spread cancer awareness and those suffering from it in Malaysia.
AXA AFFIN is working in collaboration with National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) to support cancer patients currently undergoing chemotherapy. They’ll be funding chemotherapy daycare usage for one cancer patient for every blogger that links back to their 110CancerCare website in their efforts to care for cancer patients. Basically, a post from you gets a cancer patient one-day funding for their daycare usage at NCSM Treatment Centre and you’ll be helping them through recovery, both financially and emotionally.
Please drop me a line if you’re interested in lending a hand, or have any questions. You can contact me at danial.lissborg@lionandlion.com and/or 013-2851995.
Thanks, I look forward to your reply!
