Hola! Reino de España is our favourite now. Sorry boys of the Oranje!
The World Cup this year were really filled with surprises but we’re glad that Spain made it to the finals! “Excelente!”
In rejoice for Spain, it’s about time to post something ‘Spanish’ which we had during our anniversary celebration.
La Bodega was the venue for some Spanish fix.
House Sangria to start off with – RM12
“bien hecho, España!”
Never forego Tapas for some appetizing start.
Berenjenas con salsa de pimientos – RM12 (small)
Eggplant braised in olive oil, chili & herbs
We must admit this was tasty. The sauce was infused well with herbs and chili, with soft egg plant. Complimentary bread were served to go with this tapas. Delicioso!
Alas de pollo sazonadas en barbacoa – RM14 (small)
Spicy barbecued chicken drummets
A rather ordinary serving of tapas that was blended to suit our Malaysian tastebuds.
Chuletas de cordero a la parrilla – RM15 (small)
Grilled lamb cutlet gratinated with garlic mayonaise (allow 20 mins preparation time)
Tender meat medium-ly grilled to perfection.
Paella Valenciana mixta – RM30 per person (for a minimum of 2 person, which makes up to RM60)
Spanish rice cooked with prawns, chicken, mussels & clams in a paella with saffron, peppers and peas (allow 30 mins preparation time)
Phew… Thank god we don’t see Paul the psychic octopus in it!
It was decent, with stronger flavours compared to the ones we had in Spain and UK. Well, suiting our tastebuds again? 🙂
Great place to be for a drink or two & delicious tapas.
