“Hey class…. Since we do not have much of get-togethers and activities for this semester, we shall organize a Class Party!!!!” announced one of my batchmate, Jason 🙂
Special thanks to HueyWuen, the organizer! We, P106 get to book a floor of Izzi Pizza, Pasta & Coffee located at Jalan Sultan Ismail, KL.
For RM33 per pax, we’re catered with food of a buffet style. From starters, main courses to desserts… My friends and I were of course excited about this party as it was held on the day where we finished our last paper of the Finals! This was an arrangement of relaxation and spirit-boosting definitely!
We traveled to KL earlier for some ‘window-shopping’. And of course visit Pavillion for the very first time.. they have not fully open up all the shops yet.. So, will make my way there again maybe next month.
I just couldn’t describe my feelings, a class party for about 100 friends. For the first time, I’m partying together with sooo… many class mates and this was definitely one successful event organized!
When I arrived at the 2nd floor of Izzi, I was kinda impressed with the ambiance, lightings and settings arranged. A contemporary feeling of excitement and relieved. The dimmed and relaxing environment ~ shall I call it romantic? haha… maybe when only a few people is there, but when the area was filled with more familiar faces later on, it turned into another environment ~ A partay to remember! We had lotsa a picture taking sessions that night!
Flows of drinks are served upon arrival, 2 types; I had the Ice Lemon Tea… not so sure what’s the other drink served.
Let’s go on with the food……!
As starters, we had the Mushroom soup, somehow, this tasted weird to me.. when I had this, it was already cooling off as I was busy snapping other photos.
the assorted vegetables
Spaghetti Carbonara was the best among the foods served. Creamy and yummy.. A thumbs ups 🙂 As for the Garlic Spread with bread, another starter, known as the Garlic Bread (Baked Pizza Dough with Garlic Butter) I was disappointed. The thick bread tasted bland without the garlic spread.. I suppose that’s what it suppose to taste. Never mind, I thought that I’ll still have the spread to even out the taste. To my dismay, the ‘garlic spread’ turn out not so ‘garlic-ky’ after all…. The garlic aroma was overtook by the amount of butter mixed together with them 🙁 They could have tasted better, I thought….
Oops.. I forgot what this was called.. but it’s a serving of Cambodian Chickens if I’m not mistaken. This is what happens sometimes when I’m writing a back-dated post 🙁
The Izzi Chicken Wings tasted wise as well.. Though its presentation doesn’t seem to attract me much, it was somehow delicious…
Not the best Pizza I had. Thought Izzi’s famous for their pizzas and pastas.. Perhaps it’s my fault to let it lay alone on the table for such a long time before eating them.
Was not really happy with the food they offered, my dear friend weithian claimed that the food on their ala carte menu is way way better…
However, this disappointment have not bring my spirits down, as I’m in the mood for pictures taking with all my cherished batch mates!
As for desserts, we were served with delicious Cream Puffs and Chocolate Brownies! These were satisfying. Before the party starts and as I made my way into the entrance, I’ve already been captivated by the varieties of desserts sold at the ground floor, at the refrigerated dessert display. Eyeing on them all the time. Just when I saw those cute lil’ macaroons, the first thought was, “BBO‘s creations”! Just don’t know why… but this popped up into my thoughts at that moment 🙂
The Creamy Puffs
Chocolate Brownies!
After the dinner, they organized games and had lucky draws in between….. and Lucky me! I got a key chain! *yay*
