Here’s a little sneak peek of what we had!
Amuse-Bouche
Chicken Liver Crostini
Crostini are baguette slices that have been brushed with oil, sprinkled with salt and pepper, and baked until golden brown or simply just called small toasted bread, it’s topped with hearty chicken liver pate.
Starter
Wood Smoke Infused Blue Mussel, Scallop and Salmon avocado puree, micro cress and creamy honey mustard dressing
Soup
Cock a Leekie
A typical Scottish chicken and Leek soup
We’ve captured the mouth-watering taste of succulent chicken, simmered down with beautifully tender, savoury leeks.
Orange Sorbet
As palate cleansers by nature, to remove lingering flavours from the mouth so that the next course may be enjoyed with a fresh perspective. Served with a slice of dehydrated orange.
Mains
Trio’s King
Turkey breast, sausage in a blanket and herbs stuffing, served with creamy mash, minted mushy pea
and red wine gravy.
We’ve never really fancy turkey as most of the turkey we had, the meat was tough and dry which was a total let down. This slice of turkey breast, would be one of the best we had. Surprisingly tender and succulent in combination with flavoursome gravy and other combinations of different textures like crispy sausage pastry, creamy mash and peas. Yum!
**Paired with Dourthe N°1 Bordeaux Rouge
OR
Baked Salmon with Lemon and Dill Sauce
Accompanied with seasonal vegetables and dauphinoise potatoes
**Paired with Bodega Norton Barrel Select Chardonnay Mendoza Argentina
Pudding
Christmas Pudding, Vanilla Sauce and White Chocolate Ice Cream
Good companies are very important! Love them all!
Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year in advance!
