When was the last time we stepped into a Korean restaurant for BBQ? Probably way back then before we even went to Glasgow.
We always look forward to Fridays. Weekend without any fuss from work is just so right. Well this doesn’t include my OTs on weekend sometimes. And to give a toss to remind ourselves the joy of Fridays, we would come out with different plans to pamper ourselves. What else? Spell FOOD; and this time Korean.
I spotted this during our last visit to Nippy Noodle & decided to drop by right after hours of congested traffic from work. AiWei was our company for the night 🙂
We hungry people entered the restaurant and ordered fast.
Banchan was served first to build up our appetite.
It’s definitely not complete with the sauces and fresh vege.
We just gotta have to BBQ & we had:
Sliced pork fatback – RM25
The melody of sizzling is what I love most. Aromatic and smokey pork cooking in front of us made us even hungrier. Ooo… my hair smells like BBQ all over.
Kimchi-Jeon
Pancake with green onion – RM25
Loaded with Kimchi, this portion was kinda huge for us. But still I enjoyed every bite though I can’t stuff myself with more of this till the end. I would however still prefer my pancake with crispy edge, like the one at Ko-Hyang.
BibimBap in hotpot – RM18
Dduk-BBoggi
Spicy Rice Cakes – RM15
Flavoursome and spicy!
Haemul Ra-Myen
Seafood Instant Noodle – RM13
I should have just shop at Isetan for packets of Korean noodles & seaweed.
But when the craving comes, you just gotta pay for it.
Complimentary Steamed Egg
Verdict: We still prefer NakWon & Daorae if you put these few in comparison. However, the service was good and environment was pretty relaxing. Food was moderately good. Definitely a great place to chill and sit down for hours chit-chatting when you don’t feel like heading home so fast after work 🙂
